Yes it is possible.
The easiest way to begin is :
Administration
Change color skin (or something similar meaning the same)

You can either change the color manually or apply default skins.

After, you can change your CSS if you know how to.

At the top of the administration page in the customization area click on "restore the default skin" and then submit your changes.

Well, i think aceboard should have te skin like forumup.org has. It's much better than those color only skins!!!
