i just make a forum and made my first title and made a post of the rules. now i am confused how to change the the background coulors and add the custom made title picture at the top of the page.

to change the background colors, when you are logged in you will find a link named 'adminisrtation' at the bottom of your forum.
click and then you will find another link to the colors configuration where pre-designed layouts are available.

Regarding the picture, it must be uploaded first on the internet (eg using http://www.imageshack.us ) and then still via the administration link you will be able to point to this uploaded picture
