Sorry to nag, but I was wondering--will these problems get fixed on my existing forum, or only on new ones created? If the latter, is there any way for me to get them fixed on mine? (homeschoolwiki.aceboard.com) The users of my forum may not neccessarily be computer savvy, and a bunch of french words on the forum may turn them off. Is there any way for me to fix this or have it fixed? Please reply in this thread or a private message. Thanks!

When the language issue is fixed, it will be for all the forums, the old ones and the new ones.

in your private messages it says: les favors instead of "your favorites?" i think?

when you want to delete your forum, the entire ''deletion'' on aceboards homepage is in french...

what gets me is... there are different words on many different boards that are... well... different. french on some, english on others... and then, there are newer boards with french words, where the same words are in english on others. why? seems like there is no effort by anyone to fix it, or at least make it consistent across the boards. very confusing. very frustrating, and at this point, appears to be one helluva problem for the people set with the task of correcting it. i DID watch the 24 hour of Le Mans the last few days. if english speaking people could just get up to speed (pun intended) with all the french speaking people (who seemingly handle our language with much more ease than we do theirs) this thread would have nowhere near the number of posts it does.

Well when you declare members winners, the text in the special avatar and the quote they get are in french...

that winners thing was something like the Quality Posts thing that i wouldnt use, anyway, but now im really glad i dont! LOL. thanks for pointing that out Erppa, because i WAS looking at it to see when or how it might be used, but if its in French, that ends that.

Yeah, and you can only declare them as winners once, and  if everyone makes just one good reply/thread by the years...It gets ridiculous.

my message board, surpisingly, has very few, if any, french words. i have the answer to your problems. just go to your profile, and near the bottom, you should see right below "your computer", a section called "forum language". change that to english and the french words will be gone.

This is already said, but not fixed.
Go to profile, then select Aceinfo and everything is in french.

when you try to delete your board all of it is in french

I don't know if anyone has said it or not (I just skimmed) but when you ban someone, it says stuff in french... I forgot exactly what, but I just knew it wasn't english...

also when u been declared a winner and try to post it has aperson with french words

Specifically the issue I've posted about in the past and still have an issue with is the date stamp options. Currently my date stamp is dd/mm/yyyy and what I would like it to be is yyyy/mm/dd.

Ive waited so long for the reply from the moderator (I pm'd him)that, frankly, I dont even know where to go to change this. Help on that would be great too.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this but in the Adminisrator Panel, at the very top of the page it says "Welcome in the administrator panel." It sounds picky but I think it should be "Welcome to" and the a and the p should be capitalized. Also underneath the Edit the CSS file of the forum it says "You can entirely change the CSS file of the message board ( for experimented users only ), which should be changed to "You can entirely change the CSS file of the message board (for experienced users only).

When defining user rankings the title line is in french: "Nombre de messages postés : Nom du grade."

This is not foreign language related but in the private messages forum none of the topics underneath the topic column are on the left edge. I'm not positive if they are supposed to be, but it appears that in other forums that the topics are on the left edge but in the private messages forum it appears that they start on the right edge. Sorry if I'm wrong about this.

Much of the general agreement when people try to register is in French. Almost everytime I try to logout it does not load and I get this error message:

non num - 3. Please reload the page. Veuillez recharger la page. (1?verif=1)

I try to reload the page and it shows the same message. I click back on the browser and it says that I'm logged out, but the "to log out" button is still displayed. I don't know what could be causing this but it would be a lot easier if it was fixed.

I got this French when I clicked on the special category of the smilies: "Aucun smiley pour cette période" and also posting or editing a message underneath the smileys it says "Plus de smileys." I'm not sure what this is supposed to say, possibly "add smileys?" Also, some of the google links are in either spanish or french. Example:

I don't know where you found all of that French from, but it's very possible that if you checked the language of your message board it's set to French. Change it to English and many of those problems will go away. Unless if I'm wrong about this, I don't know for sure because you did not say where you found it at. So where did you find that at? In case if you didn't realize, you double posted. Click the 4th button on your second post, it looks like a little trash can, it's gray. That will delete your second post, thanks.
