Why's it ask for DOB? What if I DON'T want my forum to comply with COPPA? What if I don't want to allow anyone over 18 to register in the first place?

first off, asking why it wants DOB is stupid, every forum asks that and (correct me if im wrong) if you don't want to give your DOB then don't fill it in, it should let you.

And you can't change the age restriction. All you could do is put in your forum like "for adults only" or 'only 18 or older' something like that.

Don't know if you can change COPPA, but do know that in the United States, it is illegal to not-comply or dissable COPPA

Not to be mean, but try to ask some real questions, first 2 arehttp://www.freesmileys.org/emo/signs019.gif "Well said smiley"

Well, do these forums comply? Can I create a program that makes it ILLEGAL for:

1: Adults to register.
2: Adults to track kids.
3: The adult MUST be a youth advocate to join. To tell, they MUST write a persuasive essay on the given topics.
4: NO EXCEPTION to rule 2.

You could set resistration to 'Allow members manually'
So, you can check their profile before they join or reject their request

I know. Butif you wrote an essay on how kids should have freedom and power....

Is there an age limit on creating a forum?
