Changing colors and pictures Is there somewhere where more detailed instructions can be found in English. I am trying to change colours on board if I click on paint pot color card comes up but when I click on required color nothing happens and copy paste does not either - where do I find the code ie set numbers and letters.  I have managed to download pictures from image shack but they are too large and I am not sure where to paste the urls. If you can direct me to a site that explains how to do this in detail I would be grateful

Ok, to change your colors, you go to admin/change config of message board, then you can use a skin if you want or change each color manually. When you click on the color pad, take note of the code that is there before you press a color, then press the color and the code should change.

to resize your pics you can google resize pics, and a bunch of sites should come up...

kimmy thank you for your help  Although that was what I was doing with no effect I have found that by by right clicking on the required colour and source the code comes up and by entering this manually this has succeeded.  I also took a look at your very attractive site by clicking on the url below your posting. would you be kind enough to tell me how that gets there - mine just shows a name also visitor see a message URL not found which I have tried to get help with changing.  As you are obviously English speaking and my schoolgirl french a bit limited you may be able to set me right.  I have resized some of my pictures using photobucket I was not sure what size to make them but I will keep trying now I have some basic knowledge. Did you create your banner etc using CSS many thanks if you can help

  • Ok, to get your website name you have to go to profile/edit profile, scroll down and put your sites web addy in your signature
  • Now Im assuming your talking about my big green cool motas banner right? I just went to any site that does glitter text. Then once you have the code (should be the http:// code) go into you administration-configure-message board logo. Paste the code there. oh and sometimes too, you may have to right click on the banner you made, and upload it to photobucket.
  • Now for your pics. If you are going to use them to replace the icons across the top (ie-profile/search/etc) then they need to be sized to thumbnail size.
You can replace the aceboard pics with your on in the admin/change pics on forum. You also use the http://.

If you are needing anymore help, please feel free to pm me. Oliver could also give you some more tips too, as I am not as highy advanced as he is
