if i add a category to my board, i can only put it directly above or directly below another category. i can add forums to it, but the other categories only stay in place if i dont attempt to move the new one up the board. if i try to move it above another category, thats when the wheels come off! isnt there a way to rearrange things without everything going helter skelter? plus, the only way i can delete a category is if it is at the very top of all my forums. im on webtv, so it may be a browser issue... so can someone please tell me... if i get to a pc and access my board, will i be able to rearrange it the way i want to? thanks for all your help

yes you can arrange your categories and forums as you wish in your administration panel..just ascend or descend one at a time until theyre in place.  It takes some getting used to but once you get the hang of it its easy.  PM if you need more help.  Good luck

thanks lisa, for responding. it probably is easier on a pc. with webtv, its not so easy, lol. the only way to have new categories with forums in it is to add it at the end and keep it there. forums and categories will not move up the board together. if i ascend a category, only the category title moves, and it will move all the way up until it is located directly above the category title that is the next one above the one you are moving. its crazy. the way i fixed it was to move the posts from the forums that i wanted placed into a new category... into another forum already on the board. then, i had to delete those forums i took the posts from and create new forums, placing them under the new category title, before replacing their posts back into the newly created (but same titled) forums... time consuming, but i got what i wanted! LOL. thanks again. next time... im getting on a pc when i wanna rearrange!

hope it works out for you jim..a little hint..if you have a wii its also difficult to set up your board using your wiimote..lol, takes forever!!!
