if you give me an idea of what you want on it, and about what size you want it to be, i could try to make one for you.

the banner for my video game group is 360x190 as viewed at the top of my forum. i DID have a smaller version as my sig, but i changed it today. just click on the bottom picture (my sig) to see how my "Step into The FoG" banner looks at the top of my forum, The FoG.

this is my 360x105 banner i use for my forum, The Gym. it links to the forum if you want to see how it looks at the top of the page...



and this is one i recently made for kimmy that is the same size as mine, above. it's just not clickable, like mine are...

once you have your banner you just have to go to the admin panel, click on where it says "change the appearance of this message board" and insert the URL for the banner where it asks you to insert the forum logo URL (address). Let me know!

I don't get how to add a logo to my forum.  Does it have to be url or can it be just a pic I have?  And how do I get it on the forum?  I see the place in the admin panel, I just don't know what to put there???

you want to use the "direct link" if you are using photobucket.

I also had to convert the image to a gif file. Is that normal and do I need to do the same with any other images I want to personalize ?

tess... the pics i use at the top of my forum are URL's (addresses) from my 250free.com account. i upload images there from the web. for example, my logo URL for The FoG is...

just put an image you have starting with http:// and it will show up as your logo provided it is an uploaded image. i prefer to upload my images and not steal anyone's bandwidth. i never messed with photobucket, but i guess, like kimmy said, if you use that resource, you need a direct link.

and travelinman... i don't know about the need to convert an image to a gif. i never understood all that. i have a "Gifs" file and a "Jpgs" file at 250free.com. depending on what the original image is, i stick it in its respective file and keep either the jpg or gif format that was attached to the end of the url.

for example i sent Proudsouthernlady. a sample logo for her forum. it was a jpg and still is...
