Can I turn this feature off ?
Because it's actually quite disturbing IMO.

no it cannot be turned off.. its called flood control so that people cannot spam the board with message after message. there is also a 20 second time limit between replies

i cc&p a lot of stuff, so i have to be careful... or it happens to me A LOT!

the worst part, though, is when, right after i post something, someone sends me a Fast Message... so there i sit, while the other person thinks i'm ignoring them, unable to respond right away, because... i may be attempting to flood my own group!

i wish it at least had a way for us, as admins, to bypass it. other forums allow you to set the time limit, at least. but not Aceboard. "They" rule with an iron fist!

I agree jim, its annoying and I wish that the admins of the board were able to disable it...

admins can also flood and annoy their members. That's why this feature will remain.
