sorry, there is no way to center your logo at the top of the page. as for the color, maybe try experimenting with a different color for the text color in the admin panel?

Actually there is a way to center the image at the top and the bottom of the forum. However it is a bit troublesome. You use a table code to achieve this. What you do is this. You upload your image to a picture host that also has 'html' pages that you can create. You then create a 'raw' html page and apply this table code: <table align="center" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#90A0D0" ><tr><td bgcolor="#90A0D0"><img src="URL OF IMAGE GOES HERE"></table> Then you take your already uploaded image and apply the URL to the URL space in the code where it says "URL OF IMAGE GOES HERE" and then submit or publish that page. Then you take the URL or your new 'raw' html page and add it to either the footer or the header of your forum and "presto" it will be centered via the table code. ![]() If you look at my forum you will notice I have my footer banner centered: http://runawayhorses.aceboard.com/ Tyler ![]() The image and html page needs to be from a 'Hot-linkable' picture host like "freewebs.com" or some other hot-linkable host. --Last edited by runawayhorses on 2007-11-22 09:00:00 --

I don't want it centered thats why. But the code will work there as well if the template your using allows it. The different templates that aceboards provides all have different header arrangements. I believe the black preset template will allow a centered header.

You can't upload your header to your forum, you have to upload your header to a picture host like http://photobucket.com/ or Image Shack, and then take the URL of your newly uploaded picture and place the URL into the correct text field in your Administrative Panel.

There is a simple way to center your logo if you have a little patience. Try this:
I hope this will help you out! Note that I used a .jpg instead of a .bmp to make the upload time faster (I use dial-up). Also, the length of your header in order to center it will most likely vary from mine. My forum is optimized for the Opera internet browser, and it does not appear exactly the same in other browsers (such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox). --Last edited by bukizzle316 on 2008-03-26 00:44:29 -- |

Good post bukizzle on how to make a transparent effect using MP. However I doubt they wanted to get into all of that..lol Anyway, thats one way of getting a transparent effect, but another way is just use a image editing program like http://www.irfanview.com/ and create your own image. First create a "New Image" to the size and color you need and that you want to be transparent, and "save as". If you use a textured background just crop the background image to the size you need and "save as" and it will give a transparent effect also when used in this example. Assuming you made a black background, just create a 'panorama image' and open your newly made black image, then open your logo image (still using irfanview) and place it to the right side of the black image you just created and "save as". You'll have the same thing without needing to use miscrosoft paint and painting over an old image. ![]() However, I don't want my header image centered at my forum so I don't do that their. I did make rounded corners on it though that are transparent to the background - so it gives the effect that the edges are rounded. Forgot to mention, you can also turn the header into a "gif" using irfanview and then make the part of the header you want transparent. Also its important to remember that making the extended part of the header transparent so it will appear "centered" will not be centered to different size computer monitors people have, thats because Aceboards forums tables are all set to 100% so it is maximized to all monitors. So what looks centered to you make not to someone else using a larger or smaller monitor. --Last edited by runawayhorses on 2008-03-26 15:25:27 --
