Hi guys n gals,

I've had a forum set up for a good few months now and am extremely happy with how it all works and runs - and obviously the fact that it is free !

I have just one qestion - I have come to point where I need to change the name - the URL of my forum.  This is because the name of our group has changed.  Could a Mod tell me if it is possible to do this?

Well, I filled the details in and it went to a blank page - so I dont know if this has worked or not?

What does it mean by "login of your forum?" The current url?

If that link doesn't work, than I'm not too sure.. sorry

The link worked fine for me aceman, the problem might be from your end cause the site loaded in seconds.

Good question bukizzle because it isn't very clear on what it means. My guess would be it wants the URL.

Sorry, when I said it didnt work, I mean the webpage loaded and I filled my details in but none of it made sense and didnt change the name of my forum !

what will happen if it is successful? does someone at aceboard have to change it or does it happen automatically?  I entered my info in and it also went to a blank page. Should I wait?

No, I wouldn't expect it to change anything if it went to a blank page. I think even if it did work correctly it would change it automatically, but thats just a guess. Seems like a risky thing to do though if you have lots of members using your old URL. They wouldn't know how to get to your forum anymore.

well this forum board I have is part of my website, so to get to it you have to go the homepage link anyway.  I really need to change it though.
