In my forum, I registered as a user with a new name and E-mail,
I did not receive any mails after posts were written, in my profile the receive the mailings is set to yes.
Is there something else i have to do in the admin panel to make the forum notify all members of a new post?

have you checked in the "spam" of your mail box ?

I guess I misunderstood. I thought you were looking for something that sends an email to all members when a new post is made. As far as I know there is no such option. I always thought the "receive mailings " box was for any mass mailing that an administrator might do.
