Blogger is an excellent platform for beginners or people that are not so much into the technical aspects of blogging. It has many benefits - it’s free, easy to handle, nothing complicated to install and an extensive support. You sacrifice some of the flexibility other platforms like for example Wordpress has, but on the other hand, less functions is less problems.

TO EDIT XML FILES YOU CAN USE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS :

XML Notepad 2006
Microsoft XML Notepad
Stylus Studio XML Pro
XML Fox XML&XSD Editor

Load your site in your browser.
Right click on the image in question and select properties.
Your browser shows the path of the image - unless it is controlled by css.
That's where you need to place your replacement image.

If the image in question is being placed via css then you have a bit
more work to do. The quickest way would be to go directly to
/templates/<name-of-template>/images/...

The web developer toolbar when installed in Firefox can help with
identifying the specific image if you can't find the right one.

All tags MUST be closed in XHTML 1.0. Even those that were NOT closed in HTML 4.01. Close these tags with a space and the "/" symbol:

<img style="width: XXpx; height: YYpx; border: 0;" src="Path to image" alt="Text Descrïption" />

Note the " /" before the ">" character. This closing of tags includes the "hr", "br", "meta", "link", etc. tags.

: open your templates/your template/overall_header.tpl

copy contents

2: as every person in early stages doing open Microsoft Front page / or dreamwaver / or any other html editor you prefer.

3: paste the copied contents from overall_header.tpl

4: check in the header table in the code find
if any image is used > change the image
if color code is used > change the color


then once its fixed copy the contents and put them back in overall_header.tpl
