well you have dark black and bright yellow, which looks good  if done the right way in my oppinion but thats not the right way

and may I ask why you picked white,black,yellow? and red

especialy sence the amount of white isnt much at all?

also mking the font in youre header smaller and removing the smilies (or at least most of them) will make it look for professional

also, if it wasnt a convo you might center it maybe?

MOST IMPORTANT: I assume you added red because its in your logo? heres the thing, the  text is to bright and needs to be a darker shade to match, but a darker shade may or may not show upto tell so trial and error is needed here

Forum border should be visible. On the left side where forum names are displayed, it looks like they're in a pool of black because the forum border and the TD BGCOLOR are both black. It's too subdued for something as important as forum names.
