IF we buy a licensed software of Microsoft the original CD is handed over to us along with a secret key. This key is to be given while installing the Windows XP or any Microsoft product. Then it will ask for validation. Once We validate it will accept our secret key. From here we can assume our software is original or call toll free number and you can finds out from Microsoft customer care also.
