Yeah, besides, appointing new mods would be much like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic - no point in it.

until the admins pull their heads out of their assess and come on here and take care of business, there is really no point in having new mods. This board is pretty much user run anyways now.. I'm still around just not as much.

Anyone notice that if you don't sign in here first before you make a post it redirects you to the forums main page?? Wow, I really hate that.

Anyway, I agree with Kimmy, they need to get off their arse and take care of business. However, I think just making an appearance here is only a small part doing what actually needs be done, or more to the point, what 'must' to be done. They need to fix this slow server becuase it will eventually be the undoing of the Aceboards forums. Its the obvious single most important issue that needs to be addressed right now. Actually, they don't even need to make an appearance at all, just fix the dang server and go back to what they were doing! All the other things are livable.

About the Mods that grncove wants to become. First and most importantly grncove, you need to know a lot about Aceboards forums, and computers in general, and some knowledge in page work would be a 'plus' as well. And need to have demonstrated that you know these things. So I ask you, do you, and have you done so?  

In short, you don't just say "Make me one" and think thats all it takes. But having said that, it probably doesn't matter now unless Aceboards decides they want to coninue being in the "Forum" business.
